Welcome to TRUE Therapy, LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We are pleased to offer our mental health therapy services to you (“you” or “client”) under the following Terms of Service. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using our services.

1. Scope of Services:
We provide mental health therapy services to individuals seeking support for various emotional and psychological concerns. Our services may include individual therapy, couples therapy, group therapy, and other related offerings. These services may be provided online or in provided office space.

2. Client-Therapist Relationship:
By engaging in our services, you acknowledge that a professional therapeutic relationship is established. This relationship is built on trust, respect, and confidentiality. Our therapists are licensed professionals committed to providing you with ethical and competent care.

3. Confidentiality:
Your privacy is important to us. All information you share during therapy sessions will be kept confidential, with the following exceptions:

If there is a risk of harm to yourself or others.
If there is suspected child or elder abuse.
If there is a court order for the release of information.
If you provide written consent to share specific information with a third party.

4. Fees and Payment:
Our therapy services are subject to fees, which will be discussed and agreed upon before the start of therapy. Payment for each session is due at the time of the session unless otherwise arranged. We accept various payment methods, such as credit cards, debit cards, and electronic transfers.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling:
We understand that schedules can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee is broken down into the following: first-time offenders are 35.00, and every time after this, it is 50.00.

6. Termination of Services:
Both you and the therapist have the right to terminate therapy services at any time. If termination is initiated by either party, it is recommended to have a final session to discuss the reasons for termination and to ensure a proper ending to the therapeutic relationship.

7. Teletherapy:
We offer teletherapy services as an option for remote sessions. It’s important that you have a private and secure environment for teletherapy sessions to protect your confidentiality.

8. Use of Records and Data:
We maintain records of your therapy sessions, which are kept in a secure manner and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. These records may be used for treatment planning, legal requirements, or consultation purposes.

9. Code of Ethics and Professional Standards:
Our therapists adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct. They are guided by the code of ethics of their respective professional licensing bodies and associations.

10. Limitation of Liability:
While our therapists strive to provide effective and professional services, therapy outcomes cannot be guaranteed. We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of our services. When it comes to care for prescription medications or supplements we always strongly encourage you to speak to your health care physician before making any kinds of changes.

11. Modifications to Terms:
We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting on our website. It’s your responsibility to review these terms periodically.
